by tonestertm (Posted Tue, 21 May 2013 09:04:52 GMT)<br/>Thanks, Alan. I [i:fno70c20]knew[/i:fno70c20] I'd seen it somewhere.... :/ I usually come straight here these days.

How about a sticky link to it in here, then, for folks who tend to blast past official-looking stuff like that, or just plain missed it? In my tiny little reptile brain, &quot;Forum Rules and Guidelines&quot; doesn't scream, &quot; Here's how to learn to use the Editor and this forum&quot; or The Right Way to Get Help.

Also, the link in the Editor window comes directly here, so those who tend to jump right in (the ones who most often ask the most basic questions) would bypass your work altogether.

Just as an aside, what further info would you like to see in that area?

Feature request: divided segment attribute

by AlanOfTheBerg (Posted Tue, 21 May 2013 04:56:18 GMT)<br/>Already exists in the database and could be used. It used to be available in the editor, called &quot;separating line.&quot; The problem was that it wasn't ever actually used for routing. So, your request to have an attribute is complete.

Now, making use of that attribute is a different matter entirely.

Can't edit house numbers on non-US laptop keyboard

by edarchis (Posted Tue, 21 May 2013 02:20:48 GMT)<br/>Hi.

On US keyboards, the numbers on the main section give 1234567890 and you need the shift key to get !@#$%^&amp;*. On many non-US keyboards, it's the opposite, you need to shift to get the figures and typing the keys only gives on my keyboard: &amp;é&quot;'(§è!çà

The Waze map editor is filtering the house numbers not by the actual key result but by preventing the shift key. I can therefore try to create number é&amp;ç but not 182...

I understand that I could plug an extended keyboard and use the numeric keypad but it's wrong for Waze to prevent shift.

Also, the fact that many houses have numbers like 6B has already been mentioned in this forum.
