Oh, yeah... My Garmin Nuvi has a "squirrel" voice... faster speed and higher pitched... but it says
"Aw Nuts" when you miss a turn
"Hang on let me get us out of here" when it recalculates
"We are almost there...Yipee" randomly
"Wow, do you think that that gas station has nuts?" randomly
"turn left up there OK" when you turn left
and many more
would love to see it on my Waze

I think it'd be really cool to let wazers record voice packs that will be stored in their profile. Then let wazers select other wazers' (or for the narcissistic their own) voice packs for their use. All you'd have to do is supply a standard set of prompts to fill in with your voice or whatever other effects you might think up. Use a rating system that lets everyone rate the voice packs. Let us mark some as spam, others as profane (but still let us use them!). Then award points for making a voice prompt set. Award points if it becomes popular. Let us choose random ones for trips. I.e. When you start a trip you could build together a trip pack, where for that trip each turn has a random (above a certain threshold of popularity) voice prompt. I think it'd be awesome and involve the community which seems to be what you push for.

It would be GREAT fun if there could be voice packs similar to themes for home screen replacement apps available on the market currently. Yeah!

Oh lease please please please let us have the ability to customise this feature.
The best thing that you could to to generate support for this feature would be to allow people to create "voice packs" for waze that live on the SD card (not taking up our precious internal memory).

After all, who hasn't had the desire to turn the wrong way down a one way street and hear "I'm afraid i can't let you do that dave."
