Huge parking lots
One of the pitfalls of collaborative map editing is that sometimes things can get screwed up. One such example that I see often is huge parking lots that cover tens of square miles. Right now, most of SF Bay Area's East Bay is covered by two enormous parking lots: http://www.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom...

Re: Battery Life / turn off screen?
This indeed would be a great idea - have Waze automatically turn off the screen until new route incidents or directions happen or are upcoming.
Mapopolis does this.
On my Samsung Galaxy, Waze never turns off the screen, even after disabling Backlight.

Re: Street suffixes vs. names
OK... then Waze maintainers, please remove the Suffix drop-down, as it only confuses people?

Street suffixes vs. names
When editing a street, there is a dropdown called "Suffix", with values No Type, Road, Bouelvard, Avenue, and Alley. How should we use this field? For example, I changed the street name of "Rose Ave" to be just "Rose", and I selected "Avenue" from the suffix. ...

Re: Reporting road construction work ?
ariesboy, where did you enter that suggestion? Is there a public list of suggestions? It would be great to at least mark a (portion of a) street as blocked , so that Waze will not route through it. Right now, I can report a street blocked by construction (as a "Hazard"), but Waze will keep...

Re: SUGGESTION: View route in list form
Currently not - the data is sent to the server and used for building the tiles. What you can see on the map are the tiles data and temporarily recorded roads (when you record them). I have seen this today, in Waze 1.3.1.0, by accident. I did some sort of swipe/tap and I saw a list of all the route ...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Trust level
I would , however, like to see a confidence level system along with a semipermanent road construction reporting system. Initial confidence could be based on user star level, and the work could be up- or down-voted by other users. Definitely! Also, how can I report that an event is no longer the cas...

Re: Client Keyboard
I tend to use very complex passwords for web accounts (puts on tinfoil hat...cause...you know...they might hear...) and immediately found that I couldn't add my twitter account because the keyboard UI is missing bracket "[" characters. :-) I bet Waze doesn't use an SSL connection to login...
