I've settled on using speech marks (") and <b> tags around my response, just to make it stand out that little bit more. I haven't seen response rate get any better though.

Right, let's see your format then. I get virtually no responses! :(

This is it;-)

Besides that I also created a Waze reaction label on my gmail account, so they don't appear in my inbox, but on a special label folder.
And I created a 'Waze UR resolved' label, so I can mark all the solved email. :D

I started sending this message 1 month ago.
Since then I've got almost 100 emails 8-)

Nice one, will give them a whirl, thanks Peter!

I also have a number of gmail labels for this kind of thing. Have you tried the "GMail Label Notifier" app on Android? :)

Management of stock responses

Postby AlanOfTheBerg » Fri Oct 21, 2011 1:21 pm

:) I have trouble reading my own updates when I come back to one which is still open. I'm only using the single set of <pre></pre> tags around everything as the email is formatted fine and in cartouche is still very easy to read.

Yeah I only intend to use them upon closing URs!

So apparently there's something magical about Peter's stock responses. 5 requests for more info in 3 days and I've had 4 come back to me! :D

I switched over to the <pre></pre> tags, but not much of an increase in response. I think it is because it looks like poop in the emails

For reference on URs that are pending follow up, I will change Peter's magical stock responses to include the date as the very first thing. This way, when I go back through pending requests, I can see how long I've been waiting. Plus, I always throw in "Thanks for helping make Waze better by driving with Waze and reporting errors as you find them!", but that is probably just a chick thing.... :D
