Hmmm, coulda sworn I read that somewhere. Yet there are level 4 who can edit outside their area including you, right?

Please notice that the current permissions scheme is not the final one.
We will try to intoduce a model by next week, that will grant users ranks & permissions (Beyond the locking/unlocking of segments) based on their map edits.

I'm level 3, but I can do allot of edits in cartouche outside my area.
Only everything regarding junctions doesn't work.

In papyrus I can only edit inside my AM area.

Ditto. In fact, I could edit anywhere even as a level 2, but only in old Cartouche. Papyrus restricts me to my AMs and drives.

I think this is a bug, rather than a missing feature.

I agree with gettingthere re: (4) unlocking all editing rights (ALL! even junctions, because the way it is now doesn't make much sense and even seems to be inconsistent from editor to editor) in the user's home country.

I think that the (nonexistent) level 5 should unlock editing rights worldwide, but I almost feel that the threshold should be even higher.

I am still waiting a reply from support on this topic.

Definitely crazy I can delete a road, but can't modify or delete a junction.
That aside, anybody who has completed 100,000 edits has given Waze a lot of free time and work.
