I believe you are totally wrong !!!!
Showing the problem to waze it was able to edit 1350 segments in one click, multiply per 1,5 points and you get 2025 points in 30 seconds.
Repeat such an operation ten times in an hour wathching tv...and guess how many points you get !!!!

Being less technical has it's advantages. For instance, I was never able to pull up segments for mass edits using ET. I would only use the segment list to search for segments created by or updated by particular trouble makers and then still have to select each segment and address them individually. I guess I don't know how to game that particular system.
On the other hand, the HighLight script makes my life so much easier, especially with regards to turn restrictions. I honestly don't understand why this is all getting so personal, almost vicious. I mean, really??

When I was QW'ing bad nodes highlighted by the Highlighter script the other day, I did about 3000 points in about two hours. That's about 2 edits per second. Click, QW, click, QW, etc.
Can we stop arguing about people using ET if they're doing useful work? And IMO, fixing places where people will drive in the future IS useful work, as long as they're really fixing other things too. If they're just doing "allow all" in large swaths and not actually fixing anything, that's a whole other problem.

That's the ENTIRE problem. And it has resulted in a handful of bad users with a large number of worthless edits.

Points reward is just a way to get users sticked to keep editing

Would not a fully detailed map be an enough and awsome reward?
If new users or existing are improving with the scripts developed by the community, excellent, as long as in the long term map quality and coverage is improved.

Hi,
after installing the Extended Tools in Firefox 17 the map doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong? I read that there was an editor update two days ago, might this be the reason?
I have greasemonkey 1.5 installed and Extended Tools 1.6.5.
Thanks for any help.

ET in the current form breaks the editor (not the update two days ago, the one before that one), which is what started this larger debate, several people want the tools completely retired, others want them modified for security reasons, still others want them back in either their existing form or more powerful.

It only partially runs according to reports. It is being replaced by an entirely new tool, that is currently under development.

Translation :
This is a new script which replaces WME Extended tools as it was not working. WME-Addons keeps the same "WME-Extended-Tools" features except "allow all drives" (waiting for approval).
I would like to thank everyone who helped me to test and develop an accurate version. It was writen from scratch, so bugs are expected.
As you may know, this script enables you to do mass edits so be careful when using this script, and don't forget to check before saving! Thank you.
