The author of the Extended Tools just got access to the new Waze Map Editor today. So likely if he/she is going to update, it's going to take a little while.

It would be nice if the new editor offered a link to the UR on Cartouche, like the Papyrus Extended Tools did. (Speaking of which, has there been any word of that tool set being updated to work with the new editor?)
I'm using Extended tools in the new editor without a problem in both Firefox and Chrome. Didn't have to do anything to it.

The update request emails should start rolling within a few days.

Sagi, can you post the text of these emails here in the forums prior to the emails being enabled? We would like the opportunity to review and/or make suggestions.
Thanks!

It is planned that these emails will be localized?

I believe the Update Request email to the User is a MUST. Users need to feel that their reports are being addressed. If they believe no one is checking on their reports they will stop making reports and maybe stop using Waze.
I have been sending messages to Users when addressing their reports. If the problem is not immediately identifiable I mark the UR as Missing Information and send them my email with a request for further information. I get a 50% response rate if I answer the UR in 24-36 hours.
Without this ability there is No Way for an AM to repair any problems on URs that are reporting "General Error" or "Wrong Driving Directions".

The beta testers were very vocal, and have some reservations about the partial rollout without this functionality fully in place.
Especially since we are being told that update requests are only going into the new editor now, and will not show up in the old one. Therefore we are left with private messages via the forum during the interim.

I can only see a member # not a user name. I have tried the Permalink suggestion with Negative Results.

The beta testers were seeing this in the last couple days also. It was noted, currently the permalink workaround is the only way of sometime shaking it free.
