It is sad that there is no way to revert that kind of changes, because it takes a lot of toe to delete all segments and recreate the normal situation.

That's not the saddest part ... the really sad thing is that
rsmoser probably thinks that he/she is doing a great service by putting all this extra needless garbage on the map.

This is actually damaging to the map. Is the offending user on the forums? If so, send a PM. If not, this needs to be reported to Waze admin and if necessary, they can revoke the user's AM privileges.

How many tears will rsmoser shed when I start blasting away at all of those?

I'd report it directly to Waze admin. There are entire neighborhoods that aren't on the map, but this guy's been wasting time drawing in all these parking lot roads at least since February.

I have already deleted hundreds of his segments and sent him a PM which is still sitting in my outbox. I still need to go back and remove the junctions from his parking lots. When I get bored, I look for more of his parking lots and start deleting....

Wow! I hate even the smallest of Parking lots that people create but that is something else!
I have often wondered what the point of the Parking Lot road type is anyway, it's not as if people navigate to a specific part of a parking lot. Personally I add a Service Road into a parking lot just to show a junction is there and leave it at that.

Over here in Japan we have a guy who adds the walkways on the rooftops of shopping malls. He also diligently entered the closed circuit test track at the Nissan factory, as well as all the sidewalks and footpaths. Naturally, he has points out the wazoo.
What I hate more is the mess of random bits of short segments caused by people leaving Waze running while in parking lots or....apparently....while they're walking around inside train stations.
There needs to be something similar to the landmark tool for use by AMs to mark an area "Do Not Record" which would prevent the server from auto-generating segments inside the area.
Whoever did that parking lot linked in the original post needs some serious help with their OCD.
