A couple of questions about updating

I went for my first testrun with Waze today and even drove some streets that were not on the map (and paved them). Do I need to do anything for this information to upload? When will I be able to see these streets in the Live Map/Map editor?

When I make changes in the map editor, when will they be visible on the map and on my iPhone?

Am I missing something, do I need to initiate an upload or something?
