Lost editable areas

EDIT BY MOD to help with understanding the status:

Complaints are coming in from both servers, all over the world.

This was called directly to the attention of the developers yesterday morning, and they have acknowledged the problem and are investigating the possible causes.

I seem to have lost part of my (previously) editable area.
Now the editable area is broken into sections? (It wasn't before?)
Well, I seem to be missing some...
Trying to go back to an area to tidy something up, and can't....

You have access to areas you drive for three months after your last time through the area.

I also lost my ability to edit the map. I have done a few edits that were successfully added to the map a couple of weeks later. I want to fix some things on the map that found this week but the map editor won't let me make any edits now. What gives?

Are those roads now locked by a higher level editor? or have you not driven those areas in the last 3 months?

I haven't even been a member for 3 months. I drove the area last weekend.

I used the editor a month ago in areas near my house and the map is now accurate there. I tried again a few days ago to edit these recent changes and I cannot edit anything. I am locked out of the whole map.

1) Are you working on the correct Server?
2) If you are, please provide a Permalink to the area & someone can try to figure out what the issue is. Please select one (or a few) of the segments you are trying to edit before creating the permalink.

I have made edits here a few days ago. Now I can't edit anything. The highlighted 1 mile radius will not show up on the map.

Everything in the link sent appears to be locked-this is why you can't edit. Look at the properties when you highlight a road, you will see that they are grayed out, this means they have been locked by a higher level editor and you cannot edit them without requesting that they be unlocked.

You can PM the last editor, or there is a "Unlock Requests" forum under Map/Editing.
