Zooms in to far

Is there a way to change the zoom settings. I like the auto zoom according to distance but is there anyway to not let it zoom in so far. I see an issue with this when I drive down interstates and it tell me to exit some time the exit will Y or you need to turn left or right at the bottom of the exit. When it zooms in so far you can't see what is after the exit and this is need info so I know what lane to be in. I find my self having to fight to zoom to see what I have to do next and sometimes that is hard on a ramp for I'm going kind of fast and need to see what lane I need to be in and work around others. Thanks for your help.

Autozoom by distance zooms in closer as you approach the next instruction, then zooms out to a level appropriate for the next turn. This will not work for all driving situations and it sounds like yours is one of those. The zoom levels are either hard-coded are in a settings file which may be editable. I do not know how to adjust these in the settings file or if it is possible.

I understand how the autozoom by distance works ... but I'l like it to zoom based on the distance to the second turn rather than the first. So as i'm approaching the exit the zoom level shows not just the exit, but also the next turn after the exit. Helps to know which lane to get into.

I don't see how we can have it both ways. But, perhaps autozoom by distance needs to take into account the next turn as well as the first. If the next turn is 100m away and the second turn is 40km away, I don't want it zoom all the way out for that first turn because you can't see the detail which may be important to know which road to take in a complex intersection. But, if you are at the first turn and the second turn is within a smaller zoom threshold, like 100m or 150m (not sure what the metric distances are for alerts), then autozoom could stay out a little further, at a zoom level appropriate for the second turn.
