This has been addressed and is fixed in the latest beta, so you'll see it in the next release.

In the future, please post client issues in the appropriate forum for your OS, under "Client".

After uploading to the newest version of Waze (iPhone), I noticed that the app no longer supports holding the phone "upside down".

It's fine when I'm not charging my phone, but when I'm using my GPS I prefer to have my phone plugged into a car charger, since GPS can use a lot of battery.

I don't use a dashboard holder for my phone, I stick it in the center console, so when it's charging it has to be upside down. I think this picture says it all…
