I have been using Tapatalk for 3 years. I'm on 3 different forums that use it. When I got it on android, I tried the free version. It lets you read, but not post. You can try free one and see if you like it if it is still out there. I like to be able to comment from my phone, so I bought the full version.

Another plus, I find it easier to read posts on Tapatalk. I hit unread posts, and they all come up. I can go to the main page and just read posts under maps if I want.

For me reading 3 different forums, it is worth it.

When I bought it on my droid, I don't remember how I did it. May have billed my Verizon acct or PayPal. I know how you feel.

Is there a way to contact them before you purchase to ask if there is another way to pay?

Are you accessing the play store via web or phone? Try by phone, you might have the ability to purchase via billing your mobile providor that way.

Hi,

Very annoying to say the least. :x You have to choose "cancel" just to keep going, then it pops up again.

Is it worth the $2.99? Any opinions welcomed.

Very annoying indeed.
No it isn't worth a dime to do something you can do in a browser for free.

Even worse, you leave a trail of "Posted with tapititap" all over the shop. Now that really IS spam!

Des. . . ;)

If you just follow and post in one forum on a regular basis IMO Tapatalk is well worth the $2.99. One Starbucks latte costs more and lasts for 20 minute. You can use Tapatalk for weeks, months, years and get upgrades with new features.

Maybe they are doing you a favor :P

Just kidding. Yes, it's not unusual to get some unintended 'features' and new bugs with new versions too. Not just tapatalk, nearly all software.

I don't remember seeing a free version either. Maybe it's something that they don't offer anymore.

It's definitely worth it. Especially for phpBB, which isn't the most user friendly of forum softwares. The only other option on iOS is to use Safari, which is like using it on the PC but at one-tenth the size. Until I got timbones forum cleaner script a few days ago, I would often sit in front of the computer reading the forums on tapatalk on my iPhone.

I'm not drunk...I'm using Tapatalk.
