Coastal Area Problem on Live Map

Indeed, the client map looks much better...

Here it is the other way around. The live map shows the sea properly (at least for the inexperienced eyes), but the client shows Asia connected to Africa by turning over half the Red Sea into land.

Hi,

The problem is that in some countries we need to fix the location of borders and coastal area lines.
Following this post, we'll fix all of India's coast line in Waze's maps, going through the entire coast line might take some time though..

The thing that confuses me is the message from JonyPony just a few days ago saying all the country polygons had been updated.

I got some clarification from Waze about this. Shirli says "You are not supposed to notice any change in the livemap until the livemap tiles will be updated (might take some time - tiles are currently updating in the client but not in the livemap due to the new infrastructure)."

NA hasn't had a LiveMap update since the new infrastructure took effect in June. It's accurate for routing but not visually as a map.

I drove through the affected area, today, and on the client, the entire area appears blue.

Holy Moses! We see that here as well, where large waterbodies are not rendered into the clientmap. (That faint grey spot in the middle is a small island near Amsterdam).

Any resolution/updates please? I ask because, we had the INTL tile update yesterday.

The problem persists after the Map Update. Checked the area today.

In the netherlands the water is back.

But not on the most-zoomed-in level. If there is no road in the tile it isn't generated and stays white.
