Will you be my (Facebook) friend?

Postby waynemcdougall » Thu Oct 07, 2010 8:00 am

I want to test how Facebook interacts with Waze, but of my Facebook friends, only two have smartphones, and neither have any good reason to use a GPS assist.

So would someone mind being my friends for a while (you can unfriend me at any time - no hard feelings), so I can see how it works? I'd expect to unfriend at the end of the process unless you find you can't live without the world's most boring status updates.

Hey, I've just seen this:
http://www.waze.com/blog/pimp-your-car- ... y-for-now/

Now I have an ulterior motive (and we help each other) to score cool free stuff, as well as testing the Facebook/Scoreboard integration.

So far it seems as though the State option is meaningless - it is weekly and all-time scores for all your facebook friends. Maybe that will change if I get more friends on the scoreboard.

Unfortunately, the 7th best wazer in the world has chosen to accept my invite (and why is the Dutch reading the NZ forum?), so I'll never be the top scorer with my Facebook friends.

Feel free to unfriend me :).

Ow, and I read just all new posts (in the languages I can understand) by hitting the 'search new posts' button, I never pay any attention to which group it has been posted.

We'll see who gets sick of who's status updates first. I actually feel honoured to be in contact with a top-10 wazer. This is probably sad.

Oh no, you can't fool me. You're a descendant of Abel Tasman and you're off to claim the Zeeland provinces. It's part of the invasion intelligence plan gathering.

Bah! You can't fool me. I see your other posts where do 1000km week. Why would I want Wazer Facebook friends that put me at the bottom of the Facebook scoreboard every week? ;)
