Points, scoreboard and ranking problems

I worked really hard last week and earned top user in the state (IL). Its still showing last weeks top 3. Wondering when this will update and I'll get my candy for 500 points...

I wouldn't hold your breath. I never received that candy because the handful time that I have been the top weekly earner, the scoreboard has always been broken.

I believe that is/was my case too. Not worth complaining, much more important parts of the system are failing.

Well I have contacted support (via emailing support on the website) 3 times this week and have not gotten a response to any of them. Disappointed. Very disappointed.

I know my concern is minor in the grand scheme of things, however a response of any kind would have been nice.

FWIW I've submitted several items to support also, over the past 2 weeks, and haven't received a response either. It takes them a while occasionally. Whenever they release a new version, response time suffers. They'll get back to you eventually.

I think that they are probably overwhelmed with support requests with 1.8 million new Wazers signing up in the past month. 20 million Waze accounts in total.

I would think that's the reason. Also the subject line may have an impact - Candies or points not earned is probably a mail they get quite often.

Which is a big problem. Waze needs to make it work properly so they are not getting these types of support requests or reevaluate what is important. The navigation and traffic avoidance are the primary features. Focus on activities that support these functions. The points should be a driver of this but not something that is generating support request. Waze support is surely wasting so much valuable time on 'silly' support requests.
