Points, scoreboard and ranking problems

I have not seen any new points since 11/30. Based on today's status update, I sent email to support.

Krankyd posted in the comments of the http://status.waze.com/mapdate-december-5 update, that they are looking into the miles/points delay.

Did he say that, or that he's looking into your other request ("size of the Cartouche archive panel") that you commented after your question about the miles/points? Hard to tell.

Darn inconsistent date formats across the world.

That's exactly why I prefer the DDMMMYYYY format (i.e., "09DEC2011") in what I post for international viewing, even though in my "normal" usage, I'm more familiar and comfortable with MM/DD/YYYY (12/09/2011). Just doing my part to help alleviate international tension!

Anyway, on a different note, I took the day off from editing yesterday and woke up this morning to 24,000 extra points, so I guess the candy bug has resolved itself!

Yes, I did notice a bump in my own points and other Wazers on the Scoreboard without any editing for a couple of days.

Likewise ... almost no editing in the last two days ... yet I start this week's scoreboard on top of my state with over 13K points ... looks like I'll have another week of the gold icon after this week also. (And only about 25K left until I topple rescue557 from the #1 spot in my state! )

I got around 70,000 points last night and I didn't do that much editing yesterday, so I'm guessing I got about 85 candies worth of points last night.

I noticed that ... picked up 38000 or so myself at some point today! And I see that we've both entered the "Top 50 Wazers" list for the NA server -- congrats!

There is only a limited number of ways in which someone could do this without alerting an AM though, and those should be easy enough to identify if Waze has sufficient editing transcripts.

I don't know how well Georgia (where cpockat is listed) is covered, but we've got quite a few active editors in Tennessee that could take a look and see if cclag123 is doing something like that.

I have also seen bad edits by this person and have never been able to contact them.

Add me to that list also ... nata365 messed up a lot of the offramps and onramps on I-86 through western New York last year, caused me a bunch of trouble (and a bunch of points ) in going back to fix the problems.

Nope, still not correct, at least for me ... although the dashboard date does say 5/24, I'm still missing several thousand points that I should have received since Saturday night.

Hello, I have drive with my car EVERY DAY. For a last 4 days my points was not updated,but today waze has added approx. 4000 points for my scorecount. What`s going on??? It is NOT fair play

I know a lot of us have been complaining about points not updating in this thread, but I just wanted to post this to say thanks to waze for the recent fix. Points are updating for me every few hours. Awesome, simply awesome! Thanks to the people behind the scenes who made this possible!

This seems true for Europe too now. In the last days I can often return from a trip and find the route right away in the dashboard. Also, points and map edits are updated once a day.

Thanks to the people involved with these recent fixes!

I started to take screenshots of my dashboard and so I can compare the recent counts.

Currently it seems that "Waze Cookie Eater meters" also known as "road munching" isn't counted since several days. It made a big jump from December 18th to 19th but since then I didn't see any change - and sure I've had many roads to munch ...
