yes you do earn points for editing. check in the Wiki pages it show the points earned for everything. I forget what you get per edit right now, otherwise I would tell you.

Also for every 500 edits, you get a bonus candy worth 750 points on your next drive. When everything is added up, 500 edits equals 1500 points. Happy editing, and please don't complete edits unless they are correct. It's sad to see so many edits in my area that are poor, meaning the map in my area is poor and leads to bad routing.
