3rd place point leader in California just disappeared

I just noticed tonight my all time rank changed in California, but I was far from the next person. It appears that whomever was between anthyz and Seedyh deleted their account or lost all their points. I don't remember who was between them, but it is too bad someone with so much time and experience is no longer editing maps.

Could be they transitioned to another state. A lot of the mega drivers float from state to state depending where they're doing most of their driving that week.

That would make sense. I guess I have not seen that in the past. Is it controlled by driving or editing? Sounds like Driving only then?

Indeed, driving only, I have seen it updating on a daily basis (two of the Dutch top wazers drive a lot in Belgium, an are disappearing and reappearing in our national ranks).

I would think it would be weekly based on my 10 days on the east coast driving 2,000 miles outside my home state of California, where I never dropped from the California ranks. Maybe it is different on the World server?

I agree, KS. I've had weeks where I've done more driving in other states, but mine has never changed either. It's possibly because we're primarily editors. It's the mega-drivers who float around to different states. Who is the user? I guarantee he is on the list for another state.

I remembered that I took a screen shot of my position on the CA all time list and I see 'alexbrasil' in the photo, but no longer on the CA list. The main list shows him in TX. I will send him a PM to see if we can get the skinny on what changed for him.

This happens with underdog constantly in Florida. but I'll take the temporary 4th place in the state in the meantime.

This used to happen to me often between California and 'Mexico' on the USA / Canada server. It seemed to happen more often than weekly. I would bounce back and forth based on driving. I suspect someone from Waze saw me commenting about it in the forum and they 'locked' my state to California.

I saw underdog today on my way to work here in OKC. He was less than a mile away. I almost said hi to him on the Waze pings.
