Is the database for the wiki linked to Waze? This is my assumption, but I have been unable to login to the wiki since registering over a year ago. Is there a separate database that I have to register for that I'm unable to find?

It is linked, but it's a little different... For my username "AndyPoms" on Waze, I have to login to the Wiki as "Andypoms" - note the lowercase 'p'... I think the underscore in your username is causing the issue, so instead of "james_8970" try "james 8970" (with the space instead of the underscore).

Odd. That's not working, I've tried capitalizing my first name as well. Hmmm. The problem is likely my underscore, but I have no idea what it might be replaced with. Time to contact support I guess.

Try looking up the username guidelines for something like wikipedia or the wiki software, it may give you some insight in what's wrong. I doubt that Waze Support will be able to help you with this one.

Use the "logout" at the top-right of the Waze website. Then try this URL: https://www.waze.com/signin/?page=https ... /index.php

Hrm. Well, last resort is to clear all Waze.com cookies empty your browser cache and try that link again. (I always wait to suggest the full meal deal...)


iOS and Tapatalk have conspired to screw up this post.

Underscore just doesn't work. I had to change my username from svx_biker to svx-biker for the wiki Login to work.

Looks like you have to send an e-mail to support to do this now. Sigh.

Edit: Due to major infrastructure changes we're implementing in our users' database, we have disabled the ability to modify usernames in the Dashboard the only way to change the username is to delete the account and register again, to delete your account please fill up the form: http://tinyurl.com/WazeDelete.

You have got to be kidding me.... I guess I have to make an alternative account to edit the wiki and keep this one for editing. Urg.

Where did you get that information? That does not match what is posted HERE in the forum by the Waze staff.
