Maybe I'm getting old and useless but does anyone want to explain how the hell some of these people are getting over 500,000 points in a week.
Most of us serious editors don't even get anywhere near that.
aydenva has 949k points this week. Yeah right...
Don't recognise a single name in the top names anymore.

Infrastructure team is merging the server from Israel. So, people who got 500k points there appears with 500k now (they were added to the INTL server today).

I think Christopher has it right. In last week's UK scoreboard there is a "villian.il" user in 7th position, down by 7 - which would previously have put them above 1st!

The only thing that confuses me is that I'm sure we had a similar situation a few weeks ago, where Israeli users were appearing. I thought they were merging users then - or maybe I'm just confused. Anyway, they all disappeared again after a few days.

I have to say I feel sorry for the IL users: they were getting updates every two days as regular as clockwork, long before the US servers were migrated to the "new infrastructure". I just hope our migration gets finished soon to make the newcomers (and us) happy!

OK that all makes sense, they've a year or two ahead of us. Still, Waze has the most complete maps for Israel. How would you get that kinda points updating something that's basically done?

You are probably seeing their total scores as being allotted to the weekly scoreboard now. It should probably settle down after a week of mayhem.
