Work to be done in and around Gauteng

1. N3 from this point onwards needs some work:

Either the extra lane needs to be deleted in places or the missing pieces need to be joined. I suggest joining the missing pieces as the road is rather large and a lot of it has been done already. I think this needs to be done all the way to Durban :)

Update: I have done work on the N17/N3 intersection. I have also worked on the N3 up until here: http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom=6 ... 1=90776569

2. N17 Eastwards from this point: http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom=3 ... FFFFFFTTTT.
Most of it seems done, but there are a few gaps. I haven't looked at connectivity at all.
After Boksburg this road needs a lot of work (basically undrawn up till Bethal).

Worked on by: Glipsie (Bethal->Ermelo complete). Needs new volunteer who has access to the area
Status: Minimal

3. N4 from Pretoria to Witbank needs work. I have completed from Witbank till the N11

4. N12 from the N3 till Witbank needs a lot of work:

Hey, Glipsie!

You're doing a heck of a lot of work in Waze! Well done & thank you!

I have done the N3 from Durban to just past Ladysmith in KZN ... that's as far as I can access! (It was done a long time ago - when I first started on Waze ... so it might not be up to scratch. Folk need to report problems if and when they find them, so that they can be fixed.

It looks like the area north of Ladysmith doesn't have an area manager .... volunteer needed...

Thanks; I try ;)

I will get to the long distance routes eventually, but theres a lot of work to be done on Joburg. Hopefully this thread inspires someone who's driven the routes to do some work :)

Hi Glipsie,

I often visit Boksburg over weekends (my parents stay there) so I've become the area manager for a chunk of that area and will be working on it as I get time. I updated one of your requests for Rondebult to be fixed up. There is still plenty to do though!
