waze won't route to my street

Hi,

Been using Waze for over a month. Love it. Big problem for me is that Waze never is able to find my street.

For some reason it always tries to route me into a nearyby development.
I've checked the maps... Google, Bing, etc. My address and street are on there.

My address is on Hazelwood Run in North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
The correct way to my home is to enter the development from Bagley Road to Pepper Ridge Run.
For some reason the Waze app always wants me to enter on Gatestone Road. The directions I get put me on a street far from my home. The Gatestone Road development does not connect to my neighborhood.

The waze app has also tried to have me go home via Jenning Road (this is even further away on Bagley Road) and once again I end up far from my home.

I've been using the app for several weeks and have reported via the app many times that the driving directions are incorrect. I tried looking at the map editor online but can't seem to figure out the problem.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

In a nutshell it seems that Waze is ingoring Pepper Ridge Run and Bagley Road intersection.

have you checked to ensure that streets are properly located and named in the Waze map? Once you are logged in, please do not ignore the important link to the editing manual in a popup message. (Link is also in my sig.)

I think you pointed me at the problem. Pepper Ridge Run is misnamed.
It appears in waze as pepper pike.
Also the intersection of pepper ridge run and Hazelwood run appears broken.

I'll try and fix from home. I can't get map editor to work well in iPhone and my browser at work won't load the editor. (Old IE)

I did try and rename rode with map editor on iPhone in Safari but not sure I did it correctly.

Waze doesn't use street names for address searches, but relies on Bing in the US. The name of the street will not matter at all for routing. But, incorrect or broken intersections/junctions will cause problems if Waze can't figure out how to get you to the correct location. I wouldn't edit on the phone. Too difficult to use, IMO.
