I think that there could be delay in updating scores. Was online connectivity always available while you were driving using Waze?

As much as this doesn't help Waze, it's pretty interesting to see how airplanes travel on the runway of the airport. You can see how the planes come and go on the runway as well.

I mark potholes in my town everytime I drive. Huntington, WV isnt good about fixing them so they are always there. Im not not going to mark them. Its not my fault that my city doesnt fix them and its also not my fault that Waze only leaves up hazard notifications for like only 15 minutes or whatever short anount of time it is. If another user doesnt agree that its there then its gone. If i drive by it again or later that day Im going to mark it again.

I wouldn't be too concerned about a person getting too many points for reporting hazards. The number of points you get from them is insignificant and after you've reported a few in a short period of time, you don't get any more points for them. If the hazard is legitimate, it shouldn't be a problem.
