Speed camera warnings

Postby ispyisail » Wed May 23, 2012 8:03 am

Hi all

When driving past a fixed speed camera over the speed limit a warning box appears which lets you select 1 of two options

"close"

or

"report false camera" or something to that effect

My questions is what happens with the reported false camera sightings?

Thanks

Mine gives the second option as "Not there" (at least for red light cameras). I don't know what happens when this is selected. I hope somebody can give you an answer.

Speed camera warnings

That must be that third brown/tan camera that shows up on the editor. I have seen several, usually by the miss posted speed cameras.

Reduce the amount of time that the alert remains on screen after you've passed the speed camera. I don't think it needs to be more than 5 seconds

I don't know that anything happens if you report a camera as 'not there'. A camera is not handled in the same way as a regular report.

Speed camera warnings

Postby orla » Wed Jul 11, 2012 2:33 pm

Suggestion:
When approaching a spred camera I would like The warning to show The speed limit set for The camera.
Anyone in for that?

Clicking "Not There" makes an UR that requests the camera be removed as it is not there anymore. Thats what is supposed to happen I would think. Never happened any of the times I clicked "Not There", so instead I had to go and delete the speedtrap myself manually.
