Voice Directions problem

Great App thanks. Lately I have had a problem in that when I set navigation, there is no voice( telling me to turn here etc) However there is a voice when an obstacle, speed trap is reported ahaead. Its just the naviation part that there is no voice. Why is this?

Where are you? What phone are you using?
Under "Settings" - "Level of guidance" what is selected?
