There is an alert sound? I never get them unless I am playing something through my bluetooth in my car.

If the report is on your route and on the same side of the road you should get a 'police reported ahead' audio alert.

Yes, the key word there is should, but I never do.

Well if you are driving on roads that are split with a one way road in each direction (think freeway) and a Wazer places the police report from the other direction, it won't alert on your side.

Sometimes the police reports are on a ramp vs. the freeway so that won't alert unless you are routing onto the ramp.

I realize that. I'm saying I cannot hear the alert unless my phone is playing something through the bluetooth (Galaxy SII). I've run it in another car that doesn't have bluetooth and I do not hear the alerts then either.

Speaking of alerts, it would be nice to vote down on a live police trap that isn't there anymore.

Um you can. When you get the voice alert and the pop up, you have the option of "Not There" that you can click on to vote it down.

Not when it is on the other side of the road.
