500 miles in a week

I live in Canada......around the date of November 3rd, I travelled more than 500 miles (800km's) within a week, however, it did not recognize it....??

What's going on??

It has to be in a "scoring week" - which is Monday-Sunday, not simply in any 7 day period.

You mentioned November 3rd, which is a Sunday. If your 500 miles started then but completed during the following day(s), it wouldn't have counted as all being within 1 week.

Also, there have been problems with drives being uploaded to the servers recently. You should find quite a few topics about it if you search around. And when things aren't running well, longer drives can take longer to appear.

okay...that makes sense then.....actually, November 3rd was a Saturday.....did half the long trip on that day and back the next day....so it is not 500 according to that set week then....

Hm... that rather sucks. I think a lot of folk expecting this bonus from holiday travel, like me, will be disappointed to find out that heading to Grandma's house on Sunday and home after Christmas will not be added together.

Actually the week runs Tuesday thru Monday. look at when the weekly totals are calculated and posted. It happens at the update on Monday night (usually about 11:30 pm EST). When I hit my 500 mile mark it too was over a weekend trip with half the miles on Monday's drive home. I too thought it was Monday through Sunday and that I would not get the bonus but once the update ran that night I got the bonus.

I will caveat that this was several months ago so it might have changed but it doesn't seem likely based on when the weekly scores are tallied.

It's a long time since I looked at the scoreboard but it has always been Monday through Sunday that the weeklies are calculated.

They've always appeared on Monday. What makes you think they include Monday's activity?

Because of the point totals. The weekly total is as of the nightly total on Monday night, not as of the nightly total on Sunday night, which a Mon-Sunday total would be. Now there is world placement that comes into the figure. I see the updates usually hit about 9:30 pm Mountain Time, that makes it about 4:30 am GMT. Perhaps the ROTW server updates on a different schedule.

It's now Sunday Evening, the new top scores for the week will not be posted until tomorrow night's point process is run meaning any edits I do until just before the update process runs will be counted into my total for the week. And when the top scores for the week are totaled it will be higher than tonight's total will be.

And I go back to when I got the 500 mile bonus, if it didn't count Monday I would not have gotten it, as I got it when I added to my weekly commute 180 mile trip down to Southern Utah and and back up On Memorial Day last May. Without that 360 miles in one day I would have come nowhere near the total. And I got the Bonus a couple days later, before I'd driven enough additional miles for that week's total to get me to 500 let alone how I should have had to wait until that following weeks total was calculated.
