Quick 2D, North Up, Traffic Map for Rest of Route

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking for. The waze map is a traffic map. You can put it in 2D, north up to view traffic in any area.
When navigating to a destination, you can also chose Menu>Routes to see the top 3 choices that waze calculates from you current location. If you touch the map button in the upper right, the three choices will be displayed on the map. However, I don't know of way to see this map in 2D, north up if your normal settings are 3D, course up.

Hi,

My commute has lots alternate route options. Part way thru my commute I'd love to see a 2D, north up, traffic map for the rest of my route. I often pick a new path based on what I see. I'm a newbie so if this already exists, please point me in the right direction. I've done some searching but haven't found an answer.

Currently I'm switching to a google map and refreshing to get what I'm looking for. Then I go back to Waze.
