No. But as you drive over it you'll cancel the traffic report. We've actually asked for a long time that one single wazer's speeds are not taken into account in solitude. The more wazers in an area the less these false reports will occur.

We were traveling back from AZ to OR and started seeing "traffic" slowdowns reported on the highway. It showed 38MPH average. This seemed odd at night with no large amount of traffic or construction. It turned out that the waze users were Semi trucks going up a large steep hill, and this caused waze to think there was a traffic slowdown. Is there some way to get waze to know that the road isn't congested, but that the vehicle is just not capible of going up a long hill at speed?

Would this effect the overall time estimate to travel through the area tho?

I don't think I would consider that an inaccurate report. I would rather know about that - even a single semi - up ahead. At night. On a mountain road. Well, hilly, anyway.

It happens downhill too...
This is why waze should have a vehicle type setting......
