Dear all,
I just downloaded Waze two days ago and found that it consumed a lot more data than what was claimed by some forumers here.
Some said there's one data compression option but I couldn't find.
Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Data compression is always on, the option to change it was recently removed.

Using 3D maps in new areas is the highest data useing state. Once you get an area cached your data usage should drop to the rates mentioned in the forums.
