Icons small on Nexus 7

I upgraded my tablet from a 7" Galaxy Tab to Nexus 7. The waze icons on the nexut 7 are much smaller and harder to press. I liked the GUI on the Galaxy Tab much better. Actually, I'm surprised there is any difference at all. Is there any way I can make the icons bigger on my Nexus 7.
