WAZE Needs to Step it Up

Postby Projekt_SHIN » Fri May 14, 2010 3:33 am

I am noticing many different "copy-cat" applications like WAZE coming into the application market light.... They offer the same functions.. and a little bit more... (Friends list, Group Destinations, Customizable Options, Etc) Now personally.. I am a fan of Waze and will always be "loyal" to this application.. but me being WinMo.. i honestly feel a little "unappreciated" lol.... regardless... there are some things in which Waze has an "advantage" over the imitation apps.. It is Multi OS... this is a pretty big one.. bridging the gap between other OS and not being a dedicated app to only one.. is a great Perk... and It is also more "fun" to look at... I really like Waze's animation style.. as opposed to the more serious tones of the other apps.. which make it no different then Google Maps....

Though I feel that this community needs to kick it up a notch because yes, it was only a matter of time until we started seeing imitations.. but they can only be behind for so long...

We need Faster refresh Rates, Friends List, Reliability!! and some love to WinMo.... ha....

either way.. fantastic app guys... i honstly believe that with a little more features.. this app will become the most used application in mobile phones....

I know what you mean.. A while ago, when I didn't work with Waze yet, I was looking around for a nice GPS app for my phone, and because Waze was the only one which worked on WM, the choice was easy. If I, however, was using an iPhone or Android phone, chances are big that I ended up with one of the others.
