Am I missing something?

Something I don't understand. If I try to report, lets say a weather hazard, it shows me 4 options, Fog, Hail, Rain and Snow. If, however, I have gestures turned on, it gives me many more things to report, such as tornado. Am I missing how to access these using just the screen? Why are there more options available when using gestures?

That is just the way it is. There have always been more options for voice commands. Waze hasn't felt it necessary to have parity. Likely for safety reasons, not having to scroll through large lists of options.
