Waze not updating on Facebook

Ok I connect my Facebook thru the web's dashboard and I have reported events, the only thing I see is the it is updating on Twitter but not on Facebook. Any ideas, anyone?

Slightly off topic, but can anyone explain to me what linking your waze account with your facebook account actually does? Or point me to a forum/blog post that explains this? I've been wondering about it lately.
