How do I delete my account?

You know, I can't find that info either. I suggest emailing alpha@waze.com with your request.

But before you do ... how do you know that no one around you is using it? I am not aware of a way to find out. A lot of people use it anonymously and/or totally hidden for traffic reporting and avoidance. And, at the same time, they help adjust the map just by driving with Waze running. You can both contribute to the mapping project and get your friends on board. The more the merrier. I encourage you to stick it out a while!

Playing around with it for a few minutes at midnight is hardly giving it a chance. And the points, meh. For me, it's about building a robust, community-supported roadway and routing layer, with some auxiliary social aspects. But if you must go, . We hope you come back.

New user. Wanted to try it out but no one uses it locally. I wish to delete my account but find no option to do so. Help please.

I only just installed it tonight. Played around with it for a few minutes. Browsed through the alerts and all I see are alerts from over 100 miles away. Example: Speed traps in Baltimore MD and I'm in PA. Seems like a good idea but til it gets more popular here, it's just going to drain my battery for pointless points. I bet it's more fun in larger cities. Thanks for your response though.
