I like Voyager to, and only partly cos I'm a Star Trek fan. :)

Voyager is already a registered TM. So that's not possible.

How about these:

Designo ( from latin, means to map )
Vestigo ( from latin, means to explore )

Thpt. A lawsuit is unlikely, and unlikely to win because the holder must prove that a "consumer" will be confused about which product to select because they are so closely related. Web-based mapping application is hard to confuse with 1) Star Trek series name, or 2) a vehicle sold by Chrysler, or 3) LG phone, or 4) a NASA vehicle and program (I don't think NASA tried to (R) or TM).

But that shows that Voyager is already used in a variety of product names.

Navigium
Expeditus

The original translation of cartouche in old greek:
Shenu

Ouroboros

Old people who made maps:
Mercator
Ortelius

Ornamento

Personaly I don't like names with 'waze' of 'waz' in it..
I think it should be a really diffrent name just like cartouche is atm.

I agree, Peter. The names with Waze in them are great for us internally, but I have a hunch they are looking for something a little more marketable to the general public. A name that looks good on a press release. A name that would be good on a stand-alone piece of software in case they ever want to split it off and sell it. Don't want to name it Wazomething if other companies buy or license it to use in their own applications.
