There isn't any option for that and I doubt that they are working on that.

There used to be cartouche and cartouche_bing, and also cartouche_test. It would be sufficient if multiple implementation were available that way.

I see no advertising for waze in India.
Even I got to know about it just by chance while surfing the Net for GPS Mobile solutions.

Having adds of Waze on Facebook/Some Indian and other TV channels can increase wazers in these area very fast...
All the advantages of Waze are valid only if large number of wazers in this area...

This has been available in large parts of the world including the UK for some time, I don't really think it changes much!

Where waze still has them beat.... faster updates. Your changes don't immediately go into effect over there, and roads/navigation appear to require further manipulation by a google tech to make them work. This just appears to be a more sophisticated/polished way of generating a list of changes for google to work on.

Then they need to stop treating android phone special, and release a more featured client to other platforms.

Then we have some competition.

To be honest this is typical Google behaviour nowadays. The sooner someone smashes google to pieces with a suitably powerful anti-trust suit the happier I'll be.
