Ipod/pandora controls would be way safer to use on the waze app rather than having to multitask. (safety is key!)

I start my music app, then Waze, then I put the car in gear. What are you doing different?

I do the same but what if you need to change the song?

"Need" or "want?"
I don't fiddle with my phone unnecessarily while I am driving.

Ok "want"
Thank you for the replies, but I think that simple play/pause, Next, and previous, controls would be a great addition for those of us who chose not to be left at the mercy of what music our phone is playing.

That's actually a lot to ask. Which music apps would be included/excluded?
Just hit the power button on your radio for three minutes.

It is my understanding that previous versions of Waze did have these controls, so its a matter of implementing again rather than creating new interface.
As for what is included perhaps the native music app on phone. Or a choice of such in settings.
My commutes of over 2 hours would definitely appreciate it

it would definitely be useful. on my phone, if I am driving with the music playing and a call comes in, the phone app takes over but then when the call is dropped, the music will not start playing again. IT would be nice if the music control was available from the waze screen.

Well, if we were to have music controls, then there would be less map and more music controls. Will be forced to depend on listening to the audio directions by Waze.
