I would love to be able to add your own colorscheme in the app. That way you can make Waze just the way you like. For example I love to have different color for all the roadtypes, but to have a white background and landmarks in beige/greyish color.
I think it would be pretty easy feature to add..

You already can.
Search for forum for how to edit the map schemas/schemes. There are lots of community written ones you can try.

Oke, but then you need to re-edit it everytime you update Waze? That would be kind of annoying. But thanks, I will search for it!

Yes, you do have to re-apply after updates. Only with a jailbroken iOS 6 device is this possible. Android users have the ability to do this today, though. Search "color theme" or "color schemes"
