how to search an intersection

I would like to know how should I search for an address that's an intersection, for example 20th street and 8th avenue. I am from South America and many places don't have or don't use house numbers so we only guide by the streets. Waze doesn't recognize the intersection, it only finds the 20th street or the 8th avenue. Thanks.
