So... (after reading some of the threads and parts of your wiki) ... I am flabbergasted. It is almost incredible to read how a few hinder so many.
If all that was proclaimed about the benefits of the Austrian namingscheme was true, why does all the world do it wrong - and yet get perfect maps? Waze was not designed to handle streets named in the way propagated in Austria, the routing results are therefore poor and slow. Large parts of Austria are like a black hole, navigationwise. And with these maps, do not expect that Waze will do better in the future.
Consider reporting the vandal(s) that rename perfectly named freeways to an unusable mess, report them to support. They damage Waze in Austria for almost 2 years now! It is in the interest of Waze that this stops, that navigation gets possible, that people can use Waze.
