Agreed, I'm having the same issue since the last build. When I'm leaving work or home Waze will start navigating to work or home unless I click cancel.

This has nothing to do with the last client build. This is a server process that Waze recently re-wrote and re-enabled. There is an option in the client to turn it off if you don't like it. This feature was also available in Waze 2.4 - but generally has not been working properly since Waze started re-working their infrastructure in August 2011.

There is no manual way of changing or resolving the traffic congestion information.

Yes but these are in areas that I don't believe there are maby Waze users. I could be wrong, but if there are no Users, how does Waze obtain its traffic information to either implement or update?

On a long drive through the Southwest; we need a "Wind-Dirt" option in the weather Hazards :).

The traffic jam data (the traffic info that is shown by a road color and gives the speed of the traffic) is solely generated and updated by Wazers driving those segments. The speed that every Wazer is travelling is passed back to the Waze server(s) for the data to be analyzed against historic data. Using this collected data, Waze can present the traffic info on the map, update Wazers that are on that route with a current ETA, as well as re-route around the traffic with a faster route.

No Wazers = No traffic info.
Few Wazers = Some traffic info, but may not be enough for accurate ETA, routing and re-routing.
Many Wazers = Good traffic info, good ETA, good routes, effective re-routing around traffic.

Wind is already there. Use the voice command to report weather.

Can you tell me where in the settings I can turn this auto-navigation off? I'm running the iOS client and have been unable to find this switch. Thanks!

Is there a way to turn off the proximity sensor in Waze? Highly annoying.
