No official statement from Waze yet, but now available in the Google Play Store: v3.0.2.8.

Hmmmm? The changelog says:

• Pioneer AppRadio support
• Fixes for Motorola Defy and Milestone
• Fix for application launch via API

And the last one is the one I like, launching a geo: URI now actually routes to the location, doesn't try to search for lat,lon anymore.

First check:

Graphical glitches at startup, as reported in the last beta thread, still occur.

Promised fix for not downloading the ApproachRedLightCam.bin is not included.

Updated my SGS2 to ICS 4.0.3 (German) from Android 2.3.5. Then updated Waze to 3.0.2.8. Al looks well except for the screen energy saving. The device shuts itself off instead of staying on, as set in General Settings, "Screen should stay turned on" (xlation from German "Bildschirm soll angeschaltet werden" - box is checked.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Installed yesterday. The overall performance is much better than the last beta so far (using one-day ). I could even let the speedmeter to be displayed and the map was not lagging, however when I intentionally changed the route, after re-calculation waze lost data connection and could not catch back. I had to put waze in background and manually turn on/off the data. After this waze connected again.

happens to me sometimes, when waze is "busy" doing "something" (in the background) and I have to unlock the phone. Else the display is always on.

The bug about parking lot roads showing at the wrong level has been fixed.

So far, so good, even when eating a candy I was moving down the map. I will have to see how it does with signal issues today on the way to work.
