(continued)

I have also noticed that Waze does not always put the city/town names in the right place.

The town directly ahead is Lexington. I have personally gone through every street in Lex and Purcell and they are all set correctly. There is .8 mile and a river seperating the two, with only a bridge in between, and the bridge also does not have a city designated to it.

Below is how it should show up, except Lexington isn't populating when it normaly would half the time either (Lexington is straight ahead where Main street is.)

I have noticed this in other areas as well.

Lastly if you start a navigation session before you lock on to GPS Waze will dump the start flag in the wrong spot.

The flag location is about 4 miles away from my actual starting place, and is in the middle of a field. This never was a problem when GPS was locked before the splash screen went away and I have seen this more and more often.

Could just add a notification saying waiting for gps or something similar and grab the route once signal has been established.

Regarding TTS, I have noticed that the translations we did are in the respective places in the Waze folder, but when is the TTS actually going to start using them? Or is that a bug?

Is there a reason why in night mode sometimes the route is highlighted in purple and sometimes in light blue?

I have noticed that if you choose an alt route it will sometimes show up in blue.

It's always been a different colour on the map view, maybe it's meant to be that way now to show which alternative you chose.

Observations of 3.1.99.105

Really looking forward to the voice widget getting fixed.
I have noticed that acquiring link with the sat is sometimes problematic, it seems to have gotten better but it still seems to be hit or miss. Generally though it does seem to take longer to acquire signal.

Not sure what is up with the map overlay in my area but it (the streets) are a mess. There are tons of erroneous streets on the map, it's bizarre :)

Operation over all seems to be smooth, reporting data seems to be a bit faster than the standard release.

Navigation: well there seem to be some issues with it. Why isn't the interface smart enough to recalculate the route when one is not adhering to the predefined route. By that I mean If one selects a route and then deviates the UI will insist that one turn around to go back to the last recognized rout set point even if it that route has become miles out of the way. The UI doesn't seem to do a very good job of "Learning the route" and will insist that you stick to the predefined one no matter the change in proximity. This may not seem to be a huge issue, and it isn't if one is familiar with the area they are in, I could see this becoming a disaster if one was in an unknown area and had to change rout because of construction.

Here is another searching network issue. This time the example shows full bars on 4g. -77dbi. I was in the city, and in an area that never has an issue. Logs were sent at ~1500 CDT 2100 GMT
