Just noticed that the first voice used for the start of navigation doesn't use TTS. It is as if it isn't ready yet and falls back to the American female prerecorded voice.
After setting off it's fine.

Where can I get a list of abbreviated words (pt-br) used by the TTS?
I am testing version 2.1.9.111 and several abbreviated words (pt-br) were not extended by TTS.

ex:
R. (St) to Rua (Street)
Av. (Av) to Avenida (Avenue)

The only word I noticed was that it was properly expanded Prof./Professor (Teacher).

It clashes when I click report button so I've to reinstall the pervious beta
I use Samsung Galaxy Mini. Log has sent.

same behaviour for me and this is the only issue I've detected today! but I can't go further to the reports.
I sent logs for each crash.
The crash when click on report is systematic.
I can't check the gas feature since I'm located in France.
I will keep this release even if I cannot send reports in order to perform more tests, hope an upgrade will solve this issue soon.

My initial impressions are very positive, but further testing is to come tomorrow (+400 km as copilot, hehe).

Finally, the read text is Spanish. The problem with extended characters remains (ñ, á, é...), they are incorrectly substituted by others and the result is comical. And the pause between "at the roundabout take the" and the "n-th exit" is a little bit too long. However, if the instruction is "continue straight /left / right", the pause is normal.

By the way, in the instruction list, roundabout appears translated as "redondel", instead of "rotonda". Is Spanish for Spain or Spanish for Latin America missing?

And regarding the gas prices, in Spain it is mandatory for the stations to send them to the Ministry of Industry. And they offer the whole list as public data (no mention about licensing or commercial uses, though). There are different formats, some of them may be incomplete. The link to that info is (English):

I know gas stations are not supported in Brazil.

But I selected it, found one gas station close, selected it. Then waze crashed.

Tried starting waze again, crashed at "Your Phone's GPS is turned OFF. OK (5)". This time I had to manually reset the phone.

After restart, opened it again with gps on this time (just for debugging), it crashed on the "Waze, Outsmarting Traffic, Toegether", but this time Waze told me it was not responding and asked me to wait or close. I choose to close.

Starting it again, GPS fix in title bar, Waze blue screen, crashed, this time I told it to wait. It closed itself.

UPDATE: Cleared cache, then cleared program data. Now I can start it again. Tried selecting the gas station again, got a black screen, then "unfortunately Waze has stopped". Cleared everything again, I am able to enter the program normally. So if someone wants the logs for this, let me know because clearly I can reproduce the error.

Received random turn by turn output when selecting an icon on the screen of hazard or other wazer.

Most of the speech recognition works through the speaker, but it will not recognize 'car stopped' at all and eventually cancels. I don't have a bad accent that I know of.

Unable to reach routing server this morning 5/24/2012 EST, but this could have been a system/network issue.

It crashed after a few minutes running, so I switched back to 3.1.99.105 (which was also crasching for me).

But one doubt I had was where did the "Pave Road" button go to in 3.1.99.111?

My first impressions:

Find by category works good.
Widget and Nearby Wazer are working fine.
Never switched female/male and now speaks Italian but sounds really worse than the last beta.
Never crashed entering in "My Profile"
Sometimes fails to send logs.

Quite a few times would quit when launching another application for just 30 seconds.

But I think that it's an improvement over the previous beta.

I installed it over the prior beta and so far it runs smoothly on my Evo 3D.
TTS in Spanish (Mexico) has improofed, but still seems to hav issues with special characters (ñ, á, é, í). Also the volume is still very low compared to earlier versions.
