Another thing, for me whenever I launch the app I always get the "tips" for the buttons popping up. Shouldn't that go away after running it a few times?

Fixed for the next version.

Bug: I found, at least during a couple routes today, that I could not add a stop point from the Categories. I don't see this listed as a known limitation. I would get the simple error message, "Uh-oh! Please wait..."

It's not a known limitation. You can add a stop from categories.
I failed to reproduce, I'm able to add a stop.
Did anyone else encounter this?

The release notes of one of the betas said we'd be able to save a favorite with a stop point. How?
I had a route setup(papa johns then Moms....good times...) and had no way of saving it??

Good question. The release notes were pretty short on this feature: "Routes with stop points can be saved to favorites as well." I've also looked the favorites to find a way to save a set of stop point+destination, but am not seeing it. Perhaps it's one of the features they are rolling in before full release?

Guys, sorry for not being clear. It would be possible in a future version (not the upcoming one).

When in the alternative routes screen, Map view - pressing the target button does not appear to do anything.

We are aware of that and will remove it. It's not supposed to be there.

Can we get the option 'Auto-learn routes to frequent destinations' renamed? This is very confusing to Wazers as they think that it will learn the way to get to a frequently traveled destination which it does not. We get constant questions about this functionality in the forum.

Maybe it would be better to call it something like:

'Destination prediction - automatically set a route to destinations you frequent when you start Waze'

I've reproduced this trying to add a stop from categories with every provider except foursquare and Waze. Google, yelp, yp, bing, etc. all produce this error. I will upload logs soon and have video as well.

EDIT: Logs uploaded around 3PM PDT (GMT-7). Four log files uploaded at that time.

Paving failure
This seems to have been on-going since v3 was released. Sometimes paving works, sometimes it doesn't. Here is video an attempt at paving with this beta. Recorded on May 26:

Yeah, I've never been able to notice any pattern to paving failing. It's pretty annoying.

When searching for destination or stop-point by Category, the "Waze" search results are always shown first, and always show the same first search result regardless of the category selected. The "SW Keys Ct" appears in the top four results for all categories except for Gas Station. Very odd.

(It also shows no "business name" for the results except for Gas Station.)
