Android beta 3.2.0.995 feedback thread

New version has an issue of not locking onto direction when stopped at an intersection again, also has a hard time locking onto the network when it becomes available. I had to restart the application when I got into a 4g area in order for it to connect. GPS still seems to be locked in by the time the splash screen is available. Logs are being sent right now.

The same old bug. Problem with bookmark in not english language.

Been having a lot of trouble connecting to the routing server over the last two days ... don't think that's really related to either the previous beta or this one, but thought I'd mention it.

The new setup for gas-price reporting is working pretty well ... I especially like the obvious ability to remove a fuel grade from the station's offerings.

Haven't noticed any problems yet, other than that ASR mode still does not work on my Casio G'zOne Commando (and I still haven't heard back from Nir about it yet).

I haven't uploaded logs yet, but haven't gotten to explore every niche of it yet. When I was driving, I was getting a candy and before the candy appeared, the moving map stopped, my car virtually stopped, the speedometer showed 0 mph, and then when the candy appeared, everything resumed. I don't remember previous versions doing that.

Installation ok, but did not record yesterdays evening route (Dashboard showed 0 km).
German voice has still low volume and is sometimes really hard to understand (even Radio is off and windows are closed)

Change request:
For hazards on the road, please add maintenance team (Autobahnmeisterei) to the list of potential hazards.

I installed the beta during a longer drive (620 km) yesterday. Most parts worked fine, but only a third of the drive shows up in the archive. I had some freezes then the client started to work again w/o restart. Logs sent.

Overall, the client experience has improved greatly over recent betas/releases. Well done.

Some points:
1. To re-iterate my previous post on this, the TTS gets behind when a number of nav instructions are close together, but TTS still insists on speaking all instructions, even though you've already driven past the location for the nav instruction.

2. Haven't seen any routing failures for a while, however occasionally see the message "Unable to locate end point" when a route re-calculation occurs. It's not a very clear error message, and I'm not really sure what it means, or why it occurs.

3. Do the search Categories get localisation? In the UK, "Mall" would be called "Shopping Centre".

3. Why is there no "Supermarket" Category.

4. I've never felt the need to search for the nearest "Beauty Salon"

5. Scoreboard. When switching between the Weekly/All Times/State/All listing, there is no visual feedback that it's doing something (i.e. downloading data).

6. A couple of cars in "My car" under "My Profile" still have file names.

7. Switching between miles/KMs still isn't immediately reflected in the "Events Radius" options.

8. Units should read "Miles" and "Kilometers", not "Mile" "Km".

9. Speed cameras aren't always being displayed on the map.

10. The mute button needs to be a bit bigger.

11. TTS still has some weird pronunciations, what's the process for this?
