Personally, I think there should be a way to report certain users who are just hitting correct price just to get the 8 points and probably while driving near but not close enough to see the gas prices. There are several users I know for certain that are just doing that because it says updated today and the price was from several days ago. Also, there needs to be a way to see the address of the station. I've seen it where there are several stations of the same brand on the same list.

This. I would like to see this. There are a couple of locations nearby where the same brand is being sold on opposite corners of an intersection (who the frell approves such things?). There's no way in the client to determine which one is which in the list. Oddly they sometimes have different prices.

Wow. So how accurately does waze route to them? I've found that the waze routing to the station addresses isn't very precise. In other words, once waze routes to the intersection, which way waze tells you to turn seems fairly random. For instance, the destination flag occurs in the middle of split roads for a few stations that waze has routed me to. Until we can actually correct the station locations so that waze can route precisely to the station with the lowest price among stations with the same brand at the same intersection, I'm not sure that being able to distinguish them when entering the price is going to make much difference.

Good point. I've never tried to route to either station so I have no idea. But based on the inaccuracy or other addresses that I've routed to it would be very unlikely that it would have the correct location for either station. As with most things it takes some intelligence from the user to make it useful so as long as Waze can get my within sight of my destination then I can usually figure out the last few hundred meters on my own.

I noticed tonight that "3rd Party" is reporting "N/A" for various octane ratings of gas, not just users doing drive-byes. Need to get a better source!

I honestly could go without this feature and have a way to turn it off as my town tends to hover at the lowest gas prices for the most part or I don't exactly live near any place that justify the trip. Just a little rant I guess

My big issue with these gas prices is that a) they're difficult to enter in, even while stopped. It needs to be more big button friendly like the rest of Waze. (The GasBuddy app for the US is a good example of "clear & concise" when it comes to gas price entry.)

The 3rd Party seems to post correct prices for the most part where I live, but usually only one or two grades (and not usually diesel, which I need.) What I wish we had was a way to correct wrong 3rd Party station info. I've got duplicates (like two Chevrons where only one exists) and long-established stores (mostly Shells) that don't show up at all. And then there are stations that are placed correctly but have the old/outdated names or have changed brands. Do we know who the third party is, so we could go directly to them to freshen their data?

Waze has not disclosed the 3rd party in regards to the USA gas prices. Some is of think it could be YP (Yellow Pages) or the source that YP uses.

I hate to recommend this - Workaround for these issues, just use Gas Buddy. It just works...
