The voice providing directions is breaking up. It is so choppy, in fact, that most directions are unintelligible. I don't find any setup option that might be affecting the sound. Device: Samsung Galaxy II Touch 4G, Sprint
No bluetooth involved. Thank you.

This has been an ongoing issue with this particular phone:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21911Not resolved in latest update.....Not sure if it's a client or ICS issue, I'm leaning towards ICS.

This issue was occurring on my Epic II before the ICS Upgrade. It is not directly related to ICS.
I feel like I should mention that Uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling does help, but it doesn't last long. I've had it work clearly for a small time period, but that's it.

This was a problem introduced when samsung went from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 when building the final ICS rom for the E4GT. I have a fix posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1780585 but it does require you to root the phone. Seeing how things are going, the issue probably won't be resolved through official channels as the E4GT is no longer available from Sprint. They have shifted their stock to Boost Mobile.

this has been a long and painful issue for my Motorola defy phone as well.
i amusing cyanogenmod 7.1 and 7.2
i have read somewhere that it has something to do with libstagefright.so file in the system folder, but i have no idea how or what. i am just a frustrated user who keeps going back and forth about this issue , not getting a solution.

Just updated my phone to Jellybean 4.1.2
No more problems!!
If you haven't updated yet go here:
http://support.sprint.com/support/artic ... sung%20GS2Just follow the step by step instructions, it really isn't that hard. Just make sure you back up your contacts, pics, etc..(just in case something does go wrong).

I was surprised they even released Jellybean for the E4GT...guess it's still sold through official channels and MVNOs. My phone is sitting on my desk lol

If you flash roms, swapping out a system file should be cakewalk for you lol
